A jazzy night at the Queen

Alto saxophonist David Sanborn, who contracted polio when he was 3, started playing before he was a teenager after a doctor recommended he learn to play an instrument to help strengthen his lungs. He has since released 24 albums, won six Grammys and has been named one of the greatest saxophonists of all time. Jazz organist Joey DeFrancesco has been playing since he was 4 and released his first album when he was 17. He has recorded with artists such as Ray Charles, Arturo Sandoval and Bette Midler, and was asked to join Miles Davis and his band for a tour across Europe. [More]
