Laurel police say a boy who was skateboarding in front of Laurel High School was struck by a car Monday morning.
According to police, the unidentified boy was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities said that both the skateboarder and the female driver were under 18. Police said the driver- whose name has not yet been released- was charged with inattentive driving.
