Two assaulted in home invasion in Dover

Two roommates were assaulted and their property was taken in a home invasion early this morning in Dover. Dover police say two men entered a house through an unsecured front door in the 300 block of N. Governors Ave. at around 1:30 a.m. The suspects, who had hooded sweatshirts over their heads, confronted the 26-year-old and 37-year-old men and assaulted them, police say. They then took an undetermined amount of cash as well as an XBox and a DVD player. Both items were later found outside. One victim suffered a laceration to his head, and the other suffered a broken jaw and contusions.The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. They are both described as 20 to 5 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch and were both wearing gray hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.
